Your guide to the most important environmental initiatives in Tunisia

 The environmental movement in Tunisia is of great importance, as many initiatives have emerged in light of the escalating rate of pollution in Tunisia, such as the problem of “phosphogypsum”, industrial waste, environmental justice, landfills, and others.

The role of these associations and organizations is to raise awareness, educate, protect the environment and natural resources, promote environmental sustainability, monitor environmental violations, highlight initiatives and solutions, and also provide platforms for dialogue and networking among them with the aim of pushing for policy change.
