About us
"About us"
Our journey towards developing climate journalism
Our initiative was launched in July 2021 with the aim of developing climate journalism in the Middle East and North Africa region so that it can play a greater and more influential role in raising awareness of climate change and achieving environmental sustainability.
At the Climate School, we provide advanced media training, Arabic-language resources, and professional opportunities, as well as consulting and media project coordination.
Because we realize that the path to change begins with informed media.
These efforts culminated in the Climate School winning the 2025 ESCWA Award for Arabic Digital Content for Sustainable Development.
Resource library
Our goal is to create the largest library of resources in Arabic on environmental and climate journalism.
Learning and development
The site provides opportunities for journalists and climate enthusiasts to develop their journalistic and environmental skills through educational tools, exercises and games.
"Our team"
Our pioneering team works to shape a sustainable future through educational and advanced media.
