Climate School announces the launch of the first session of Climate School Award for Arab Journalism In partnership with the organization Greenpeace Middle East and North AfricaThe award is dedicated to journalistic work published in Arabic on climate change, and includes seven categories:
- Best Human Story Award.
- Best Investigative Report Award.
- Best Multimedia Supported Report Award.
- Best Audio Report Award.
- Best Solutions Journalism Report Award.
- Best Story Award on Gender and Climate Justice Issues.
- Best News Agency Award for Climate Coverage.
Journalists whose work is published in Arabic are eligible to apply for this award until the deadline of 20 March 2025The submitted works must be published during the period from 1 January 2024 to March 20, 2025.
It is not possible to nominate in more than one category, and only one work may be submitted in each category, except for the category: Best News Organization for Climate Coverage, which requires applying for Five works, provided that it includes at least three works published during the specified publication period.
The shortlist will be announced in the month of April 2025and announce the winners in 5 May 2025 Coinciding with World Press Freedom Day. The winners will receive Honorary shield and cash prize.
